Melling Community Hub

We finally have a building and a place we can call the home of Melling Community Church. Our building will be known as 'The Hub' as this will be the centre of all the work we do in our community. This has been a long time waiting and we are very excited about the future of our church in this building, but there is still some work to do. Be sure to check back on this page to get regular updates and see the work all our wonderful volunteers are putting in to getting our new home up and running.

Today was a special day as we had out first Sunday church at the Hub.

This is big change in the life of Melling Community Church, but the way we do church stays the same - lots of noise, laughter and coffee and cake!

Last Saturday we had a wedding at the Hub.

Congratulations to the wonderful Iona and Luke!

This was the first official service in our building, and what a way to open the Hub.

We are so excited about the future for the church and thank you to everyone who has helped us to get to this point.

We have a wedding this Saturday, and it will be the first time we can gather at the Hub.

Our wonderful helpers are getting the place cleaned up and ready for the weekend!

'Circle Church' - Our first church meeting and the first time we could gather in The Hub

Hello everybody, I would like to share the wonderful news that after being 'church' in Melling for the last 15 years we finally stepped foot in our very own building on Saturday 16th September.

Emotions were evident, gratitude was immense, enthusiasm was bouncing off the walls, unity was, well, united, and Jesus was in the centre of it all. It is with so much gratitude to God and gratitude to each of you who have held us in prayer that we can now post this message. We continue this beautiful, tough, unpredictable and often messy journey, as church, praying that God continues to bless us and grow us, for His glory alone.

There is still some of work to go into the building before it can become The Hub that we want it to be as the home of all our activities, but we have incredible volunteers working hard to help us get there. For the time being all our activities will remain in their usual places. Be sure to check back on our website for regular updates on the progress of our building. This is a big step in the life of Melling Community Church and a significant moment for all us who have been here from the beginning and those who have joined us along the way.
